Budget Thing helps you give available money jobs through categories, but you control how detailed those jobs become. One household may use a few broad categories while another builds a more precise plan for bills, goals, and everyday spending.

When the original category has enough funded money, the covered amount can move toward the card’s payment category. You can see how much is ready to pay without losing the connection between the purchase, its spending category, and the card balance.

Budget Thing keeps partial coverage visible. If only part of a purchase is backed by available category money, only that covered portion can initially be reserved for the payment.

If you fund the category later, the additional money that now covers the card spending can become available for payment too. Budgeting and debt are treated as connected parts of the same decision rather than separate dashboards.
